NEW PHOTOS: Aerial views of the final concrete wall pour
NEW UPDATE PHOTOS: Wastewater Wednesdays!
Last week, we shared about wrapping up the AquaNereda basin, slab framing, plumbing the underground pipe network, and installing the underground reuse feedline. We also introduced the second major effort of relocating the wastewater plant which is re-directing the underground piping and conveyance system so that wastewater flows to the new plant.
This week, subcontractor Integ-Crete Construction shared aerial views of the final concrete pour of the walls and decks being formed at the mainland treatment plant. Integ-Crete's Construction specializes in wastewater treatment plants and large government civil concrete structures. The Integ-Crete Team has over 50 years of combined experience and is recognized as a leading treatment plant contractor in the state of Florida.
FPUA is grateful for this project with industry leaders Globaltech, Inc. ;
Haskell and Hazen, the site designers; TLC Diversified, Inc., constructing the Systematic Wastewater Conveyance Redirection project re-routing flows away from the Indian River Lagoon; Kimley-Horn, the conveyance system designers, and the sub-contractors working so hard to keep this project on schedule.
We are also thankful for the partnership with the City of Fort Pierce and St. Lucie County in this infrastructure improvement effort that will benefit the Fort Pierce community for generations.
